Scartlet and her very nice parents were in for our Holiday Card session. The story-board below is on display in our studio as a 30 inch gallery wrap. I look at it as often as possible. Her sweet little face makes me smile.

Purple - No rain

We had a glorious day with Leanne & Kyle Pess on their wedding day. Not just because Kyle's twin brothers are hot (it was a bonus), but because it was a very free-flowing, fun, playful group we had to work (play) with. They were up for anything, there was zero time pressure, and we had time for beer at the Toad & Turtle. What more could we possibly ask for? A fun reception, or a great response to the Instant Gratification slide show? Check!

Beautiful Autumn Colours

Leanne & Kyle

We had a cool-ish night on Monday, but we had fun! It was worth a little chill.

Leanne & Kyle will be married in Red Deer this October, and they live in Edmonton.

What a sweet, loving, good looking couple. Kyle suffers a little with all the 'let's be snuggly in public' stuff, but he was awesome! We'll be seeing a lot of Leanne this fall / winter. She is also planning to trash one of her two wedding dresses, and I think/hope there are some steamier* portraits in her future.

disclaimer*it's been discussed...we can neither confirm nor deny that she will be dethroning any reining pin-up/boudoir goddesses, but we know she could* ;-)

A Flying machine

On Monday, My friend Dan Sims from World Financial Group was running the chipping contest for the MS 100 Holes of Golf. Players could chip marshmallows into a hoola hoop for a chance to win an iPad, donated by Malcolm Galenzoski from TD Canada Trust. The golf tournament raises money to fund the programs for clients,and they do so much. One of the live auction items was a one hour sight seeing ride for 4 with Mustang Helicopters. Two of the pilots from Mustang came out and I got to ride in the smaller helicopter. (not this one)
It was great. I was last in a helicopter two years ago for a wedding out past Nordegg. I'd forgotten how FUN they were.
