ThankYouThankYouThankYou....

Wow..I sure say Wow a lot. The Home Show was kind of exhausting, but I had a lot of help with pulling things together. My husband helped me with the building & set up of my booth, which is a bit like a room. Ajoy, the very nice man who has Milano For Men put me in touch (thank you!) with Michael from Sims Furniture, and Michael dressed up my booth (thank you!) with the most OPULENT red leather couch you have ever sunk your bum into. It was a nice place to sink mine when the 'stupid shoes' became too much. So many people saw the Sims sign and asked me good questions about the couch. I encouraged them to visit Sims.
There were SO MANY of my clients at the show, it was kind of a 3 day reunion.
Thanks for all the kind compliments on my work. It's very gratifying to know that folks like it.
My World of Women booth Neighbour from this past fall was there too - Jaimie Cooney- she is an AMAZING artist. There's nothing she can't do with paint. ( but ask her about "The Bandsaw Incident") If you've been up to Jubilations recently, you may have seen her work all over the walls.
I'd also like to extend a warm welcome to Thomas Michael Photographic. Like Pamela Schwartz (who is awesome!) he is a PPOC member relocating his photography business to Red Deer from out of province. He is also in the process of going digital. He was gracious enough to stop and introduce himself.
...Just because Johnathan from Traptow reads this I should mention that he wandered through the show and stopped in for a big visit too. Hi Johnathan!
ooh - and Danny! Little Danny Sims (ok, he goes by Dan...but I fixed it) came by for a sit on the big comfy couch. He's the World Financial Group guy...who ran out of gas last week....claiming that his gas gauge is not right. uh-huh.
Tomorrow is St. Patricks day...and you know what that means!!! Kevin's Birthday. That's my husband - the one who wants a suit for his birthday. Big boy clothes. So, we'll be into Ajoy's store tomorrow for a birthday suit. Not the skin kind. I'll also drag him out to the Rusty Pelican for some Birthday Cheer. He doesn't drink, so I'll have his portion, he'll eat cake. It all works out.
