Weekend for the Ladies!

I went with 4 friends to Canmore one weekend in January. It was gorgeous! We got a two bedroom suite, enjoyed the Ice Magic Festival at Lake Louise, and talked way too late. It was glorious. Candace & I stayed one extra day to tackle Ha Ling. The Sculptures were in progress as we walked around. It's amazing how many ways there are to carve Ice. The castle on the lake was already done, and skaters were enjoying the views. The tip of the ice castle was nicely branded for Fairmont. There was an ice bar serving hot drinks, Ice tables, sleigh rides, and of course the action of the many ice sculptors at work. Lunch inside was nice too. Nice & warm!
